Soft enamel lapel pins

Soft enamel lapel pins start with the same process as die struck lapel pins. A flat, metal sheet in your choice of polished or antique gold, silver or copper is stamped with a die, which imprints your design onto the surface of the pin. Colors are then placed (one at a time) into the recessed areas using enamel paint.
If you choose, a clear epoxy coating can then be added to your soft enamel pins at no additional charge in order to give a higher degree of protection.

Photographic Lapel Pins

Photographic lapel pins (commonly referred to as offset printed or laser printed lapel pins) offer the most flexibility in design and style. Because they incorporate the use of offset and laser printing techniques, the most detailed drop shadows, gradients and text can be brought out with brilliant color and clarity. What cannot be accomplished with die cast lapel pins can be beautifully created with this process using laser precision.
The shape of your pins is first cut from a metal sheet with the surface of the metal being left smooth. A base color is then spread over the pins, providing something for the printed design to adhere to. Next your design is offset printed onto the lapel pins and a clear, epoxy coating is applied to protect the pins from scratches. The process is the same for laser printed lapel pins with one exception. The design of laser printed lapel pins is lased onto each pin rather than being printed. The finished products are truly remarkable with photograph quality results.

Photo etched pins

When you want a similar look to soft enamel pins or cloisonné pins, but with a more economical price, photo etched lapel pins are an excellent solution. Made from a thinner metal plate that is suitable for etching, these pins offer the advantages of color with the affordability many budgets require.
Photo etched pins are made using a combination of photography and chemical science. A photo negative is transferred onto a metal plate (in a color of your choosing) using an acid-reaction process. Each color is inserted by hand using syringe-type tools. Once all colors are filled, your photo etched pins are fired in an oven at about 450 degrees. Lastly, they are cut from the sheet and polished. A protective epoxy coating can also be applied at no additional cost if you desire.

We separate each color in individual silk screens and apply the colors to the lanyards.
